During the Common Wealth Games, 17 sports will be held in the stadium including - Aquatics, Athletics, Badminton, Bowls, Boxing, Cycling, EAD events, Gymnastics, Hockey, Netball, Rugby sevens, Shooting Squash, Table Tennis and Weightlifting

The draws are conducted in a round-robin format. At the conclusion of the preliminary rounds the top performers then compete in the quarter finals. From the quarter finals onward the games are run on a knockout basis. The winners of the semi finals then play off for gold in the men’s and women’s singles doubles and triples competition.
